“The word “essay” comes from the French verb “essayer”, which means “to try”. An essay, in the original sense, is something you write to try to figure something out. This happens in software too. I think some of the best programs were essays, in the sense that the authors didn’t know when they started exactly what they were trying to write.” - PG

This section contains longer form content. Any essay with a “thesis” in it will be critical in nature and describe at lenght the seminal ideas used in the things being inspected.

Sometimes it might feel like interrogating a concept, others laying the foundations on how I build something or think about something to get to the core constructs, the building blocks if you will, and to use them using principles’ first thinking.
