Framework to resolve problems

Here is my Frameworks to solve problems.

(A) Define the problem Approaching the problem resolution As itemised things that need solving not as problems (divide and conquer) List the itemised things and define each subset of the problem For each itemised List ALL possible solutions Use the algorithm of “optimise for results”* And speed.

(B) Accept the problem as is, it’s a fact Find opportunities in it

(A) works better for linear problems. (B) works best for complex, multi-variable problems and for resolving problems tangentially (might not resolve the problem but the problem gets either solved by doing other things or becomes irrelevant).

[*] looking at a list of options, select the ones that look more promising to produce results looking forward**. [**] “looking forward” is the same as “forward planning” which is the same as the best prediction of something given the current information at hand and current level of experience.
